For my very first blog post, I thought it fitting to pay homage to one Jeffery "The Dude" Lebowski and his wisdom when it came to home decor. His philosophy was simple, yet powerful: the fact that "a nice rug can really tie the room together." After moving into a cavernous loft space, I decided to take a chance on a rather large, conspicuous Ikea light fixture that brought personality and fun to the space and, well, really tied the room together.
